Maxine Bates is an event planner from Nottingham, UK. In Mensa she has been the Regional Officer for the East Midlands region of British Mensa for the past eight years, and with her partner Andy Farrell organised the Mensa's Diamond celebrations in 2006. She has also been the Nottingham LocSec for the past twelve years.

Maxine is currently planning the 2008 RG for East Midlands Mensa, the Milton Keynes weekend.
