The 1981 Annual Gathering of American Mensa, Derbytown AG, was held in Louisville, Kentucky at The Galt House. It lasted from June 24 through June 28. There were 1125 attendees. Rose Lee Crutcher was the AG chairman. Much debate regarding the proposed new international Constitution of Mensa took place during this gathering, and one of the proposed versions was known as the "Louisville" proposal.

The Galt House in Louisville was also the site of the 1973 AG.
