The 2017 European Mensa Annual Gathering was held in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, from 2-6 August 2017. The central location was the Barceló Sants hotel (over the Barcelona Sants railway station), where the lectures and workshops were held. Various other events such as tours were held in other locations, often using the local transit system to get there (a 10-trip ticket was included with the gathering registration, though some attendees purchased multi-day unlimited tickets to do more local travel).
