Andy Farrell lives in Nottingham, England with his partner Maxine Bates. Together they organised the Mensa's Diamond celebrations in 2006, while Andy organised the 2002 British Mensa Annual Gathering in Blackpool.

Andy is also the SIG Sec of Party SIG and an organiser of RAMSIG mountaineering events.
