Devachan was the relaunching of The Insomniac as an officially recognized member-to-member service of American Mensa, still under the editorship and publishership of Lynne Parcells. Like its predecessor, Devachan was devoted to arts, literature, and commentary, but specifically excluded commentary on Mensa politics, which had been a major topic of The Insomniac.
