The SIGs Officer is an officer of a national Mensa whose job is overseeing Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
British Mensa
In British Mensa, the SIGs Officer is a volunteer role which is directly appointed by the Board of British Mensa to oversee SIGs.
The current SIGs Officer is Neil Matthews.
Past SIGs Officers
American Mensa
The American Mensa SIGs Officer is appointed by the American Mensa Committee. In the past, this officer was considered a voting member of the AMC, but this was changed in a later reform. The current American SIGs Officer is Jonathan Elliott.
