RAMSIG is British Mensa's Rambling And Mountaineering SIG, run by SIG Secretary Stephen Nelson. Members organise a variety of hillwalking events throughout the year, and with Party SIG, RAMSIG is one of British Mensa's active participation SIGs.
Regular Events
- Scottish Winter Weekend - a bunkhouse-based hiking weekend in Tyndrum each February, led by Neil Anstis.
- Mensa in Keswick - a B&B-based hiking weekend in the Lake District each June, led by Andy Farrell.
- Coniston - a climbing-cottage-based hiking weekend in the Lake District each August, led by Steve Nelson.
- Yorkshire Dales Bunkbarn Weekend - a bunkbarn-based hiking weekend in the Yorkshire Dales each September, led by Janet and Geoff Kay.
