The American Mensa Committee (AMC) is the governing body of American Mensa. A subset of it is the Executive Committee (ExComm), empowered to make certain kinds of decisions in between full meetings of the AMC. A proposal on the 2015 election ballot would officially rename this body to the more pedestrian term "Board of directors", and the AMC has been acting as if this were already in effect when referring to themselves.
