No detailed editing help has been written for this site yet, but since it uses the same software as [http://www.wikipedia.org/ Wikipedia], it may be helpful to look at the help text there.  You can basically type plain text as you wish; special syntax is only needed when you are doing something special like hyperlinking.  To make a link to another article in this wiki, put double square brackets around it like <nowiki>[[this]]</nowiki>.  To make a link that's to an article with a different title from the text you want to show, use an upright bar, like <nowiki>[[that|this]]</nowiki>, which will display "this" but link to "that".  To link to an article in Wikipedia (useful when referencing "real-world" things like cities, countries, and non-Mensan celebrities), put "wikipedia:" before the link name, like <nowiki>[[wikipedia:New York City|New York]]</nowiki>.

No detailed editing help has been written for this site yet, but since it uses the same software as Wikipedia, it may be helpful to look at the help text there. You can basically type plain text as you wish; special syntax is only needed when you are doing something special like hyperlinking. To make a link to another article in this wiki, put double square brackets around it like [[this]]. To make a link that's to an article with a different title from the text you want to show, use an upright bar, like [[that|this]], which will display "this" but link to "that". To link to an article in Wikipedia (useful when referencing "real-world" things like cities, countries, and non-Mensan celebrities), put "wikipedia:" before the link name, like [[wikipedia:New York City|New York]].

Policies and guidelines are expected to be similar to Wikipedia as well, except that notability and relevance will be determined from a specifically Mensan viewpoint, rather than with respect to the outside world. Principles such as maintaining a neutral point of view will remain in force.
