The 1969 Annual Gathering of American Mensa was held in San Francisco, California at Del Webb's Towne House. It lasted from June 27th through June 29th. There were 250 attendees. Walter Schwartz and Dick Ahrens were the AG chairmen.
This first West Coast AG was held in a time and place known for the "Flower Power" counterculture. San Francisco would host two more AGs, in 1980 and 1992.
