Revision as of 14:32, 24 September 2005
Mensa New Zealand is a relatively small national Mensa, with about 400 members. For local administration, etc., the country is divided into a number of Areas, some of which are very small in numbers (on account of the geography), such as the Wanganui Area, which for a number of years in the late 1990s had only two active members -- they didn't actually hold their meetings in a telephone booth, but they did have 100% attendance at their meetings. Later, a recruiting campaign increased Area membership by 200%.
