The official website is yet another silly dot-com site, implying that it's a commercial entity... it seems more logical for AGs to use logical subdomains like the ag.us.mensa.org the American AG uses (sometimes, at least... other times the committees of a particular year's AG registers a stupid, unnecessary domain name for it, though generally in .org). Who's that consulting firm that's listed at the bottom of the site in its copyright notice? Maybe the site is being done by a commercial entity after all. DanTheWebmaster 11:11, 10 August 2007 (PDT)

The consulting firm listed is the AG organiser, John Thorp, who is an IT freelancer. I can appreciate him not using a subdomain of mensa.org.uk - there is a LOT of frustration among our volunteers over getting things done with the website or getting things as you want them. Let's kindly say it's a work in progress. It's not easy getting anything out of them - they don't use or promote mensa.org.uk/ subdomains as a matter of practice. :-( Andyfarrell 14:36, 13 August 2007 (PDT)
