Mensa Be is the emerging Mensa organization in Belgium. It was the official Belgian Mensa organisation until the end of 2010, when it was temporarily derecognized by Mensa International due to administrative issues resulting from the aftermath of the invalidated elections of 2009. As soon as peace is restored, it is expected to become an official Mensa Organization again. Member activities within Mensa Be continue as normal, and members can also still participate in international activities. The problems are only on the level of the board of directors.
