Sylvia Herbert lives in Worcester. Hailing originally from the South East, she has lived in Worcestershire since 1977. She attended the University of Worcester when it was just a humble College of Higher Education, graduating in 1986 with a degree in History and Economics. Within British Mensa Sylvia has been a Director on the Board of British Mensa since 1999 and was its chairman from 2003-2005. Other volunteer roles held include Regional Publications Officer, Regional Newsletter Editor and National Representative to the International Board of Directors.
