LeAnne Porter, an American Mensan who lives in Birmingham, Alabama, was the co-chair of the 1997 Annual Gathering of American Mensa along with her husband, Steve Porter. They repeated these roles as co-chairs of the 2007 AG. They were replaced in the "national takeover" of this AG. They live in a house that was built with the help of their Mensa friends, as recounted in a Mensa Bulletin article (January, 2007).
