The 1973 Annual Gathering of American Mensa was held in Louisville, Kentucky at The Galt House. It lasted from June 29th through July 1st. There were 403 attendees. Agnes Livingood was the AG chairman. The Galt House venue would be used again as the site of the 1981 AG.
After AG attendance remained around 200 attendees for the first ten years of AGs, this one started a trend of rapid increase in attendance which would continue through the '70s and into the early '80s.
