I've listed the basics that Deborah is treasurer and a member of the board, after an un-logged-in user (presumably Deborah or someone writing on her behalf) amended the page to say Deborah didn't want to have a profile on this site. I think my edits are a fair balance between her purported wishes and the matter-of-record aspects of listing just the name of the treasurer. Andyfarrell 12:42, 17 August 2007 (PDT)

Following abuse, I've reinstated this page to simply identify the name of Deborah Theasby as the Treasurer and a Board member of British Mensa. I believe those are a matter of public record and that it is reasonable for a director to expect to have themselves identified as such. I suggest no-one adds any personal profile to this, in keeping with Deborah's (supposed) request. Andyfarrell 06:05, 18 August 2007 (PDT)

The issue of profiling people who don't want to be profiled has come up on Wikipedia, and led to big fights. In our case, I think a reasonable policy is that if somebody doesn't want to be profiled, but still has some notability within Mensa (like as an officer), then, similarly to what Andy said above, a reasonable approach is to keep an article on them but limit it strictly to the notable things they've done in Mensa, without any personal details about their lives, families, and so on that are not relevant to Mensa. With that policy in mind, I'll expand the article slightly to name some of her other Mensa roles. Andyfarrell 06:36, 11 October 2007 (PDT)

As she no longer has any roles within Mensa, perhaps this page should now be deleted.

Maybe... though some historical articles about past Mensa leaders also exist. DanTheWebmaster 07:38, 7 October 2011 (PDT)
