Isaac Asimov was a famous author (especially notable for his science fiction and science fact writings) who was at one point a member of American Mensa, and held the post of Honorary Vice President of Mensa International, but eventually resigned from Mensa for various reasons including a dislike of Mensans' tolerance of what he regarded as pseudoscience.
